Zim Winter Games Cardigan

A few years ago, I was on the CSULB Snow Team. I started snowboarding just six months after moving to the US, and in that moment, discovering snow sports changed my life. It proved that I belonged somewhere I wasn't supposed to.

Somewhere out there, the Zimbabwean Shaun White is waiting for a sign. This capsule is it.

This piece is designed by me as a tribute to my country of birth. It is a collaborative, UNOFFICIAL Zimbabwean uniform for the Snow Team that one day will exist. We aren't waiting for permission. We are building the uniform ourselves.

This drop is for the kids who refuse to stay in their lane. For everyone who has ever been told, "people like us don't do that."

The Piece

Materials: A premium blend of 10% finest Alpaca (super fluffy, super warm), 15% Wool, 30% Recycled Nylon, and 45% Acrylic.

Closure: Full YKK Zipper for durability and ease.

Fit: Standard, slightly oversized fit for comfort and layering.

Design: A minimalist tribute to the motherland, designed to turn heads.
