What drew me in wasn't the difficulty or the physical challenge—it was the quiet. The focus. The way the world falls away and all that's left is you, the rock, and the next move.

Growing up in Bulawayo, kopjes were everywhere. Those granite domes that rise out of the earth like ancient sculptures. Sometimes we'd hike up to World's View in the Matopos, and there was always that moment—standing on a smooth face, looking down, realizing your shoes didn't quite have the grip you needed. That chill down your spine. That hesitation.
The Khanya Approach Shoe is my answer to that moment.
Khanya is named after my niece, but also means "light" in Ndebele. Light on your feet. Light in your step. But built to hold you steady when the ground gets slick.
